About The Plan
This website has been prepared by ATL Group Pension Fund Trustees Nominee Limited for the purpose of explaining the Rules of the Scheme in terms of the benefits and contribution arrangements for its members as well as some administrative aspects.
The contents of this website are only intended to describe the operation of the Scheme for the benefit of its members.
It is presented in a simple question and answer format for all employees to understand. This is not a legally binding website and does not take the place of:
a) the formal Trust Deed and Rules which govern the Scheme and
b) legislation governing Pension Funds. In the event of any conflict between this website and the formal documents, the latter must prevail
What exactly is a Pension
The Pension is a monthly payment to you commencing at retirement, which is calculated based on a) the monies in your account at retirement, b) your age and c)your sex. The monthly payment is calculated based on actuarial rules and takes into consideration the type of pension you choose at retirement.
