Interest is credited to your account every month, based on the fund growth during the previous quarter year. Trustees can change the rate from time to time and you will be advised of any changes. 

Every three years, the Pension Fund is assessed by specialized professionals called Actuaries who value the assets of the Fund and ensure that they are sufficient to cover the monies being held on behalf of the member.

If their review indicates that there are surplus funds, then amongst the recommendations made to the Trustees, will be for your account to be credited with bonus interest from that surplus.
